Edit Templates in RAP directly from the Admin Interface
Editor for RAP
YES! That is Right. With Editor for RAP you can now edit your templates for your products right from the RAP administrative interface. There is no need to purchase an HTML editor, download an FTP client or hire someone to make changes to your site.
Easy modifications to your templates are within reach of the non technical users of RAP now.
We Go Beyond Editing
We could have just created an editing addon but we went much further. When you are in the file list, we tell you what each file does. RAP has a long list of files and each serves a special purpose, so we try to take the confusion out of what you are looking at.
Another strength of RAP is the ability to add tokens to the templates. With that strength also comes some confusion on what they do, how to use them, etc. We have helped you out there as well.
We have created a token inserter that is available while you are editing a template. You have a list of tokens to choose from, but how do you know what they all do? We can tell you. When you click on a token a description of the token is displayed. If that is the token you were looking for, you can just click the insert button and it will insert the token right where your cursor is.
We have also added a mini file manger so you can copy and delete templates for those times to want to create a new split test page or maybe want to delete one.
Familiar Editor!
We chose a very familiar editor for this addon. We chose to use the tinymce editor. This is the same editor that is used in Wordpress. So if you have ever touched a blog, then you have used the tinymce editor.
It is a WYSIWYG editor so you can see how your content is going to look as you make changes. It is also a very visual editor with an easy to use toolbar.
